All hiring for the VIP medical clinics at LAC+USC Medical Center is done through the County of Los Angeles. This page lists current employment opportunities at the VIP Community Mental Health Center, a private, non-profit agency that provides unique and innovative bilingual and multicultural mental health and support services for child victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and their families. VIP CMHC is looking for motivated, organized and flexible individuals who have the ability to collaborate and work as an active member of a large clinical team. Compensation is very competitive with great benefits. All clinical staff receive excellent support and supervision from a licensed LCSW, LMFT or psychologist. We have a wonderful facility and an administrative team that listens to the needs of the therapists and supports them in all their duties. We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:
BILINGUAL CLINICAL THERAPIST (Full-time, Salary DOE) The Bilingual Clinical Therapist provides crisis intervention, intake assessment and some on-going individual /group therapy. Collaborates closely with HUB multidisciplinary team regarding short term and long term treatment planning and placement for clients. Must be licensed MFT, MSW, Clinical Psychologist Ph.D./Psy.D. for 2+ years. Working knowledge of DMH & DCFS systems, documentation & population experience required. Direct crisis intervention experience is critical. TF-CBT training by LAC DMH or CiMH preferred. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. Work schedule will include some evening hours until 8pm weekdays.
