Children living with violence experience the worst of childhood. Working with children to break the cycle of violence in which boys become abusers and girls marry violent men is an important role of the VIP Community Mental Health Center, Inc. (CMHC).

The VIP CMHC provides bilingual and multicultural mental health services for children and their mothers as well as individual and group therapy for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. Additionally, the VIP CMHC provides mentoring, tutoring, housing and transportation services for families. The VIP CMHC also partners with the USC School of Law for pro bono representation of families seeking safety. The VIP CMHC is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
