The VIP Sexual Assault Center is internationally recognized as the standard of care for victims of sexual assault. A team of specially trained health care and social service professionals is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide forensic and medical exams that protect the health and the rights of the victim.

These evaluations are provided away from the confusion and panic associated with emergency rooms. VIP pioneered the use of colposcopy and photo-documentation of evidence and exams in order to prevent victims from having to experience further trauma through repeat exams for court proceedings. Working as a team with legal and judicial systems has diminished victim blaming while promoting effective investigations and prosecutions.

All services are provided for victims of all ages and genders. Staff is bilingual and multicultural.
