The Violence Intervention Program (VIP) treats the effects of all types of abuse while also emphasizing community-based prevention to end the cycle of family violence. The VIP is world renowned for its programs which together provide medical, forensic, mental health and social services for all victims of violence.
The VIP Community Mental Health Center (VIP CMHC) is a private non-profit agency that provides unique and innovative bilingual and multicultural mental health services for child victims and their families of sexual assault and domestic violence. Additionally, the VIP CMHC provides mentoring, tutoring, housing and transportation services for families. VIP's latest expansion of services is the Community-Based Assessment and Treatment Center (CATC) Medical and Mental Health HUB. CATC is a full service clinic that provides ongoing medical services, case management, developmental assessments and mental health services for foster children. The CATC serves foster children ages 0-18 under DCFS supervision, most importantly, children who are a heightened risk for abuse and neglect, including those with complex medical or psychiatric problems that require special treatment and monitoring.
The VIP CMHC is currently looking for motivated, organized and flexible therapists to provide crisis intervention, assessment and therapy services. Individuals must have the ability to collaborate and work as an active member of a large clinical team. Compensation is very competitive with great benefits. We provide excellent support and supervision from a licensed LCSW, LMFT or psychologist. We have a wonderful facility and an administrative team that listens to the needs of the therapists and supports them in all their duties.
